Mix + Match: Top 50 Mother’s Day Gift Ideas
After our first Mother’s Day in 2016, people called, sent texts, and wrote emails asking to switch items or add products from one box to the other. The idea of our Mix + Match gift boxes originated from these requests. People knew exactly what they wanted to give, they just needed the option to create a gift box on their own.
Now, three years later, our Mix + Match section offers dozens of items for Mother’s Day gift boxes so that people can make them personal to the mom receiving it–from handmade toffee to reflection journals.
This Year's Inspiration
I wanted our entire collection center around those elusive "me time" moments moms generally get in short doses. I focused on products that contributed to self-care, indulgences, and winding down time. It was important to me that each product was delightful on its own. I started with a few local favorites that had three separate color profiles: yellow, purple, and red. Then I went on the hunt to find new products that were high-quality, delightful, and followed similar color patterns and themes.
